Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and raised in Rochester, NY, photographer Ysa Pérez’s intimate, spontaneous photographs span the entertainment, editorial, fashion, and sports worlds. Graduating from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Photographic Illustration in 2011, she moved to New York City to work as a photo assistant at GQ Magazine and pursue her own assignment work.
Her solo show ‘Wish You Were Here’ debuted in Amsterdam in January 2023 at Hama Gallery, where prints are currently available.
Based in Miami, FL, she also divides her time between NYC and LA.
